While keeping production running in Nalco's Central Chemical Production Plant, we replaced the 100 year old existing roof and built a new structure which raised the roof by 20 ft.

Construction consisted of a complete building renovation and bow string truss roof structure removal and replacement of NALCO Chemical’s Central Production Plant.   Existing building was over 100 years old and remained in operation the entire duration of the project while the roof structure was removed and replaced.  Due to this intricate work each detail of the construction had to be precisely sequences and scheduled so as not to interrupt the processing operation.  Along with this an extreme level of safety was taken due to the hazardous chemicals in the building.

Roof structure was raised approximately 20’-0” so as to accommodate the introduction of new equipment into the plant and the locker rooms, break room and toilet rooms were renovated.  All old process piping was also removed and a number of new overhead doors and clearstory windows were installed.
