Keeley Construction Completes new Hanger Clinic facility in Schaumburg

Schaumburg, IL (March 27, 2025) – Keeley Construction is proud to announce the successful completion of a new, cutting-edge 19,475-square-foot Integrated Care Center (ICC) for Hanger Clinic located at 640 E Golf Road in Schaumburg, Illinois.

Hanger Clinic is the nation’s leading provider of orthotic and prosthetic (O&P) solutions, with more than 900 locations across the country. This new ICC is designed to elevate patient care for individuals with limb loss, limb difference, and other physical disabilities, ensuring they receive personalized, high-quality care tailored to their unique needs and lifestyles.

The state-of-the-art facility is equipped with specialized features, including a rock-climbing wall, a spacious gym area, a golf simulator, a running track, a full kitchen, and a demo apartment. These amenities provide patients with the opportunity to test various prosthetic technologies in real-life scenarios, helping them determine the best fit for their mobility and daily activities.

Beyond its advanced rehabilitation and training spaces, the ICC also includes multiple medical exam rooms, dedicated office space with a Clinician Collaboration Center, a reception and waiting area featuring a conference room and design suite, and a full on-site fabrication lab for its technicians. The design of the new center embraces a bright and vibrant aesthetic, enhanced by ample natural light, striking wall graphics that align with Hanger’s brand identity, and an impressive 255-inch television.

The grand opening celebration took place on March 19, featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Village of Schaumburg President, Tom Dailly. Attendees included Hanger Clinic CEO, Pete Stoy, quadruple amputee and Hanger patient, Kevin Breen, and Tony Award-nominated actress and Hanger patient, Katy Sullivan.

The Keeley Construction team consisted of Project Manager, Mike Rakosnik, Project Superintendent, Ryan Radar, and Project Coordinator, Teresa Peters. Sarfatty Associates served as the project’s architect, Ware Malcomb as Interior Designer, and Cushman & Wakefield as the brokers/owner’s rep.
