Sean Keeley serves as President of Keeley Construction, providing strategic leadership and guiding the company’s continued growth across its industrial and commercial markets. Since joining Keeley in 2014, he has led business development while holding roles in preconstruction, project management, finance, and field operations, gaining a deep understanding of both operations and client relationships.
A second-generation Keeley, Sean continues the legacy established by his father, Bill Keeley, while driving innovation and strengthening the company’s reputation for safety, trust, and performance. He is an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) Chicagoland Chapter, AIRE, NAIOP, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from Indiana University, Bloomington, as well as family business leadership training from Loyola University Chicago.
Jean Keeley has been instrumental in shaping the company’s financial strategy and ensuring its long-term success. With a focus on growth and stability, she has guided the company through major milestones and strategic planning that align with Keeley Construction’s commitment to legacy, partnerships, and family values.
Billy has deep-rooted familial ties to Keeley Construction, being part of its second generation. Having grown up in the construction business, Billy gained invaluable insights into the industry from an early age. With a decade-long tenure as a project superintendent at Keeley, he brings expertise in overseeing all facets of construction projects, from inception to completion. Billy’s hands-on experience in the field uniquely positioned him to understand all the layers in the construction process and adeptly resolve unforeseen field issues. He now leverages this knowledge in his current role within estimating and project management.
John brings deep expertise in estimating and managing tenant improvements and adaptive reuse projects. Prior to joining Keeley 30+ years ago, he was a managing partner in two HVAC companies, giving him valuable insight into complex MEP/FP systems that supports the successful execution of building upgrades.As a key member of Keeley’s executive team, John has led a wide range of complex commercial, industrial, and historic renovation projects. His experience includes downtown high-rise office improvements, commercial and residential loft conversions, and work within buildings dating back to the 1930s—including enhancements to original structures at Chicago’s Navy Pier. John’s strategic leadership and technical expertise has been impactful in driving innovation and client satisfaction across Keeley’s growing portfolio.
Craig works very closely with senior leadership overseeing the day-to-day operations for Keeley Construction. With 30 years in the construction industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, overseeing a diverse portfolio of projects that range from large-scale industrial developments to commercial mixed-use buildings and multifamily apartments.
With 37+ years of experience in the industry—30 of those having been at Keeley—Shawn is a cornerstone of the company, deeply involved in every project for the past decade. He manages all aspects of field construction, focusing on safety, quality control, scheduling, and client communication. Shawn’s dedication and expertise have earned him a stellar reputation within Keeley and the industry.

With her paws-on approach, she boosts morale, lifts spirits, and reminds us all to enjoy the little things.
