Our Commitment to Safety: We are committed to ensuring the safest possible working environment. We manage risk by continually evaluating all factors of our projects to reduce personal injury and property damage. We strive to be the best in our industry. We expect all workers to perform safely every day, ensuring we meet our Zero Injury Goal on every project. Protecting our employees, our subcontractor employees, the public, and our clients is of the utmost importance to Keeley Construction.
We meet with subcontractors weekly to review safety protocols and issues, and to pre-plan coordination of all potentially hazardous and unusual operations. Accidents and near-misses are thoroughly analyzed to determine the root cause and whether new procedures should be developed in response. Our superintendents and foremen have attended the OSHA Construction 30-Hour Course and receive refresher training regularly. This provides them with the knowledge they need to continually manage safety and address risk on the job.
CASE STUDY
Nalco Water & Process Services
Nalco, a preeminent chemical processing company, engaged Keeley Construction to build a chemical storage facility. The 54,000 SF building was built on the footings of the original site of their 100-year-old building, which collapsed. The project required a full demolition and cleanup of the previous site with special safety measures to adhere to Nalco’s strict safety policy and standards.
