Pure’s Food Addition

Construction of a 53,300-square-foot precast building addition connected to a 55-year-old food manufacturing facility for Pure’s Foods
The building addition has 6 complete dock positions, including 9×10 doors, dock levelers, hydraulic dock locks, and dock seals, and a 12×14 motor operated drive-in door
The new building is connected to the existing building via a new overhead doorway featuring a high-speed coiling door and a new man door connection
The entire site was brought to current MWRD storm water detention standards with the inclusion of two storm water detention ponds and one new storm water volume control pond
The exterior façade on the existing building was updated with the use of corrugated metal wall panels, new lighting, masonry repairs, and new storefront glass and glazing throughout
The existing office work includes a 1,800-square-foot office expansion, followed by abatement and complete remodel of the existing 5,300-square-foot office space.
All office work was phased so that the owner can remain in operation during construction.
