Distribution Facility Build

Weber-Stephen enlisted Keeley Construction for a brand-new global distribution facility in Huntley, IL. The 750,000 SF distribution facility was built to support the nearby manufacturing plant, also in Huntley. Due to rapid growth, the company required a separate, dedicated distribution facility. This facility consolidated distribution operations from four other states, allowed Weber to increase manufacturing at the neighboring plant, and brought 500 jobs to Huntley.

The distribution center was built on 58 acres of the 131-acre site, allowing room for future expansion and growth. Keeley worked closely with Weber executives and Duke Realty on the project planning from day one. Built-to-suit, the distribution facility was built to the exact specifications of the team. Keeley facilitated and coordinated work with the team, designers, and city officials to ensure the ideal addition for Weber-Stephen. Using the latest in technology to facilitate the automation process, Weber improved the flow of operations and streamlined distribution of their products.
