One of the largest cold chain logistics providers in the world, Preferred Freezer needed access to ports, railyards and temperature-controlled trucking in their Chicago cold storage facilities. Keeley built the #2 & #3 Chicago sites for the company. The first build included accommodations for three freezers totaling over 125,000 SF of space. The facility is operated by unmanned cranes and conveyors, requiring an extensive placement and retrieval system and a 1,000 KVA backup generator.
In 2017, Brennan Investment Group partnered with the Village of Elk Grove, IL for one of the largest industrial infill opportunities ever undertaken. Keeley Construction is proud to work with the Village on The Elk Grove Technology Park, an 85-acre infill development, a high-end industrial park with 1.2 million SF of office space in nine buildings. The industrial park includes loading and parking areas, greenspace, and cultured landscaping.
Built to showcase the future of logistics, the DHL Innovation Center is the first in the US. This high-end space includes a waterfall, glass staircase, green features and an automated building control management system. This advanced project required coordination with expert technicians and engineers to meet DHL’s vision.
The Hawk Auto Mazda and Subaru dealerships were built on 7.56 acres of land off Illinois Route 59 and Canton Farm Road in Joliet. Both dealerships included state-of-the-art showrooms and offices, as well as service centers and storage areas. With 390 combined parking spaces for display cars and an additional 49 spaces for employees and visitors, the dealerships were built with ample room to welcome customers.
